1. Shipping Laws.
We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state outside of NY State. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Title to all wine purchases passes to the purchaser at our premises in Syosset, NY.

The purchaser of all alcoholic beverages is representing that he/she is acting in compliance with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered.

Various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages, which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction by a purchaser from another state without requiring the purchaser, a seller or shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Grand Wine Cellar does not, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying or obtaining any permits or licenses. Therefore, we recommend that you investigate the possibility of such limitations and determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages shall be brought into your state so as to comply with all of your state's requirements.

2.Shipping States
We do not ship to the following states:Iowa, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, North Dakota, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Texas, Utah. Non-wine items, such as gift boxes, accessories and glassware may be shipped to all states. Please accept our apologies if we are unable to ship to your area. 3. Shipping to HI and AK
Free shipping and other Shipping Promotions and offer site wide or on specific items excludes Hawaii & Alaska. Please email us with the product and quantity and we will get back to you with exact shipping cost.

4. Shipping Options
We offer 5 shipping options:
 
Special Delivery - NY metro areas 5 - 7 business days
Ground Service - approximately 3 - 6 business days in transit
3 Day Select - 3 business days in transit
2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit
 
Most orders are processed usually within 1 -2 business days. There might be an additional delay if any item is out of stock and/or back ordered. We fulfill 99% of the orders we receive but certain orders cannot be fulfilled due to the item that is listed online in specific type,vintage or brand is sold out. It takes 24 - 48 hours for the website to get updated.
 
Saturday deliveries can be made on Next Day Air orders only received on Friday at additional charge, you must call our toll free number 888-614-9463 after placing your order.

If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made by the carrier. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be held for 5 business days at the local facility of the carrier. If it is not picked up by then, the package is returned to us, in which case 20% restocking fee applies and it can be re-shipped at additional shipping cost.

5. Address change or corrections after the order is shipped
A $15 charge per package will be added to your order in case of any address changes and corrections once the items ships our warehouse.

6. Adult Signature required at time of delivery
When ordering from us you are representing to us that you are at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom it is being shipped is also at least 21 years old. The customer at the time of delivery are required to provide a valid date of birth ID as a proof of age to the delivery carrier.

7. Shipping Outside U.S.
We currently ship wine to limited countries. Please enter your zip code to see if we ship. All international orders are subjected to duty and customs specific to each country and is not included in your order total. Customer are responsible for these additional charges thay may occur due to this.

8. Sales Tax
Sales tax is collected only on shipments delivered within the state of NY. We are required by law to collect sales tax for orders delivered to NewYork addresses. In all other states, customers may be responsible for paying sales tax to state, county, or municipal authorities. Total sales tax charged on orders is displayed in shopping cart for review prior to check-out.

9. Weather Advisory

10. Cancelled or returned orders
We charge a 20% restocking fee on all cancelled and returned orders. On any returned orders original shipping charges will not be returned. No returns or exchanges are accepted after 7 days of delivery.

12. International Wine Shipping
UPS is approved to transport shipments of wine to consumers in certain countries. Buyers are responsible for all custom duties and levies that are charged by local authorities in the shipping country at the time of delivery.All international orders are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
