Extreme hot or cold conditions may cause delays in shipments. We reserve the right to delay the shipments to ensure quality of the product. If you are shipping to a hot or cold location, it is recommended that you upgrade to express shipping methods to reduce transit time.
We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state outside of NY State. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Title to all wine purchases passes to the purchaser at our premises in Syosset, NY.
Sales tax is collected only on shipments delivered within the state of NY. We are required by law to collect sales tax for orders delivered to NewYork addresses. In all other states, customers may be responsible for paying sales tax to state, county, or municipal authorities. Total sales tax charged on orders is displayed in shopping cart for review prior to check-out.
The purchaser of all alcoholic beverages is representing that he/she is acting in compliance with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered.
Various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages, which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction by a purchaser from another state without requiring the purchaser, a seller or shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Grand Wine Cellar does not, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying or obtaining any permits or licenses. Therefore, we recommend that you investigate the possibility of such limitations and determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages shall be brought into your state so as to comply with all of your state's requirements.

We may request for all first time orders to submit proof of age via email or fax. We offer 4 shipping options:
- Ground Service - approximately 2-5 business days in transit
- 3 Day Selecy - 3 business days in transit
- 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
- Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit
Orders placed after 1 PM EST will be shipped the next business day. Saturday deliveries can be made on Next Day Air orders only at additional charge, you must call our toll free number 888-614-9463 after placing your order.
AN ADULT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED BY LAW FOR ALL DELIVERIES. All orders are subject to verification before shipment is made. When ordering from us you are representing to us that you are at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom it is being shipped is also at least 21 years old. The customer at the time of delivery are required to provide a valid date of birth ID as a proof of age to the delivery carrier.
Any out of stock items in the order could add additional 2 -3 business day for delivery.
If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made by the carrier. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to us and will be re-shipped at additional cost.
A $10 charge per package will be added to your order in case of any address changes and corrections once the items ships our warehouse.
We guarantee our product quality and service. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact our customer service.We charge a 20% restocking fee on all canceled and returned orders. On any returned orders original shipping charges will not be returned.
An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there is any problem with your order. While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, Grand Wine Cellar is not responsible for typographical, pricing errors, and omissions. Thank you for your understanding.
We do not ship to: P.O. Boxes, APO addresses, Hospitals, Military Bases, Colleges, Cruise Ships and Hotels.
We do not ship internationally and to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Dakota, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Texas, Utah. Non-wine items, such as accessories and glassware may be shipped to all states. Please accept our apologies if we are unable to ship to your area.
