In 1856, Army Captain John Ray planted grapes on his ranch in Alexander Valley, CA. Originally
a popular stagecoach stop, Ray's Station became known for its quality regional wines. Produced
from fruit grown in the valley and along the lower slopes of Ray's ranch, these wines are a tribute
to the gutsy and unpretentious character of Captain Ray. Made in an approachable and fruitforward
style, these wines are very food-friendly.
