The 1.5-hectare parcel of ”Les Cent Vignes221; is located in the northern-most region of Monnot’s vineyard in Beaune’s Premier Cru appellation. Vines grow on two feet of dirt-covered soil, with a gravel subsoil similar to Bordeaux’s Graves region’s.
Made from vines planted in the 60’s originally from a vineyard which was “sans vignes” (without vines), this wine is round, soft and nicely feminine.
