Waterstone Winery was formed in 2000 by Philip Zorn and Brent Shortridge. Raised in Germany, Philip attended one of the top enology schools and worked with the noted producer Weingut Pieroth. Brent Shortridge found his calling after working for a summer at Sonoma’s Buena Vista Winery and parlayed that into a full-time job, first as a chemist, then in exports and finance, eventually becoming the winery’s Vice President of Marketing. Using high-quality sourced fruit, Waterstone produces approachable wines meant for everyday enjoyment.
