First New York wine in history served at the Inauguration of the President of the United States
| Wine maker notes |
| The 2009 vintage produced some of the most elegant red wines ever made on the North Fork and this is evident in our beautiful Estate Merlot. Made from some of the oldest Merlot vines in the U.S., the wine boasts local red fruit flavors of strawberries, dried cranberries and cherries coupled with the subtle aromas of red raspberries, herbs and beach stones. Aged for 10 months in older French barrels, the wine is perfectly balanced and finishes with refined whispers of vanilla and brown leather. A great example of Long Island’s signature red wine. |
