Bitch Grenache is sourced from 40-60 year old vinesfrom the Ebenezer sub-region of the Barossa. The Bitch Grenache received no oak treatment. Medium ruby-colored, it presents an alluring bouquet of earth, smoke, rhubarb, cherry, and strawberry. Supple, sweet, and tasty, this wine totally over-delivers for its humble price and is an exceptional value.

| Dark
cherry and raspberry aromas are underpinned with spicy, peppery notes with hints of anise. An approachable
wine with vibrant, sweet, juicy fruit and great natural acid balance. |
| Technical notes |
| Blended from a selection of unoaked Grenache wines from various subregions of Aragon and Navarra where the climate is continental and relatively dry. Soils are typically alluvial, but zones of rich red-brown loams and white limestone are intermixed with very rocky slate at higher altitudes. Grenache (Garnacha) survives here without the need for irrigation. Yields are typically low and this, combined with a historical selection of smallberried,
deeply colored clones, produces wines of a more ”masculine” expression of the variety. Gentle handling, soft pressing, and maturation without oak all combine to preserve natural fruit expression. |
