Stolichnaya Vodka Elit

Stolichnaya Vodka Elit 750ML
Sku: 71

Stolichnaya (or more commonly known as Stoli), the world famous name for vodka brand celebrates the 500th anniversary of Vodka production in Russia using a modernized freezing method of the distallation process that allows the highest levels of purity.

Stolichnaya Elit is filtered at sub-zero temperatures which helps release impurities and make it smoother than standard vodkas.

This expensive, tedious and time consuming procedure filters the spirit at sub-zero temeratures reaching -18 C, so that the liquid's density increases causing all impurities to freeze aagainst the walls of the filtration tanks. These unwanted purities are finally removed to achieve the purist type of vodka available. The result is a vodka with no peers. A rare spirit that ranks among the finest and smoothest in the world.

In its purest form, alcohol should have no flavor which creates the smooth taste. Cheaper vodkas can have burn on the back of the throat (the finish) due to a quicker and cheaper filtration.

This is the icing on the Stoli family, so why not try a taste of the Elit life.

Aroma is dry, clean, and grainy, with background notes of parchment and litchi; later passes offer semisweet, mildly smoky/ashy scents of charcoal and smoldering embers. Palate entry is firm, moderately oily, bittersweet; at midpalate concentrated and spicy grain flavors mingle adroitly with the smoky, sap- and resin-sweet birch-charcoal filtering influence. Concludes sweetly and almost candy-like. P.P. (8/1/2005) 96-100
