Tasting Notes: Very deep ruby-red color. Complex, concentrated bouquet of red berry fruits; black berries and raspberries. Taste is dry and warm with soft tannins and a finish of licorice and red and black fruits.

Wine Type: Dry Red Grape Type: 70% Merlot, 30% Pinot Noir. Country: Italy Region: Veneto Vinification: The Merlot grapes are traditionally vinified with a long maceration of the skins in the must for 12 days; 30% of the new wine is aged in American oak barrels. The Pinot Noir grapes are also vinified traditionally, with a maceration period of about 8 days.
