Lindemans wines promise more than the partnering of quality grapes and
craftsmanship. Every wine also contains the spirit and passion of our
founder - Dr Henry J Lindeman.
The Lindemans Reserve Wines are created with the goal of making the best
possible wines that reflect the quality of the regions from which they are
sourced. These wines are expressive, both varietally and regionally and give
the discerning consumer a profound drinking experience without
overshadowing the food or the occasion.
The resources of Lindemans and the passion of its skilled winemaking team,
headed by Greg Clayfield, ensure that these wines are of consistently
outstanding quality and offer consumers excellent value for money.

| Regional Source:
78% Padthaway 12% Robe 10% Limestone Coast (Coonawarra,
Bordertown, Wrattonbully).
Vintage Conditions:
After a mild winter with regular rainfall a cool spring was followed by an
equally cool summer. The low temperatures led to uneven flowering, bud
burst and eventually low yields. The lack of hot temperatures allowed the
grapes to gain ripeness slowly without stress. A late, warm autumn
ensured a small crop of intensely flavoured fruit has harvested with
excellent natural acidity and aromatics.
Grape Variety:
Chardonnay
Maturation:
The Reserve Chardonnay was fermented in 15% new and 85% one year
old French Oak. It was then matured on yeast lees for a further 6 months. |
