Saturated deep red. Sexy aromas of dark cherry, currant, underbrush, cocoa powder and dried flowers. Densely packed, suave and fine-grained, with lovely inner-mouth energy. Savory rather than sweet, with flavors of dark fruits and minerals dominating. Finishes long, with broad, palate-coating tannins and a suggestion of menthol austerity. The wine offers cheerful buoyancy and pristine aromas of red cherry and exotic spice.
