Wine Advocate 90 points (Dec 1993) A particulary good value. Wine Spectator 87 points (Nov 15 1991) Tart and lemony, with fascinating toast and spicy vanilla overtones. Straightforward and charming rather than complex. Drink now. Wine Spectator 89 points (Oct 15 2003) A medium-bodied, vinous Champagne, showing good structure, though the biscuit, grain and honey flavors need a little time to open. Has good density and length, so be patient. Drink now through 2006. 10,000 cases imported. –BS A melange of toast, graphite, citrus and ginger aromas and flavors mark this dryish, balanced Champagne. Good intensity and length, underscored by a lively structure. Drink now. –BS Full-flavored yet crisp and delicate. Nicely doughy on the nose with distinctive mature, toasty and nutty flavors. Harmonious Brut with lovely balance and a great, lingering finish. |
