Ray's Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Ray's Station Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml 2009
Sku: 1696962*

In 1856, Army Captain John Ray planted grapes on his ranch in Alexander Valley, CA. Originally a popular stagecoach stop, Ray's Station became known for its quality regional wines. Produced from fruit grown in the valley and along the lower slopes of Ray's ranch, these wines are a tribute to the gutsy and unpretentious character of Captain Ray. Made in an approachable and fruitforward style, these wines are very food-friendly.

Tasting notes
This rich and dense wine deftly integrates ripe aromas and flavors of black cherry and blueberry with notes of cedar and vanilla spice. Structured tannins and acids come together on the juicy and pleasant finish.

Technical notes
(95% Cabernet Sauvignon/2% Cabernet Franc/1% Petite Sirah/1% Petite Verdot/1% Merlot). Aged for 11 months in French oak (88%).
