Racy on the palate with lively acidity, it has excellent balance with plenty of spicy black fruit leading to a lengthy finish. Give it 2-3 years of cellaring and drink it from 2012 to 2022. Food pairing Best served just below room temperature as an excellent match for venison and red meats, meat dishes with strong sauces and foie with rich blackberry conft sauce.
