Wine Advocate 91 points (Dec 2011) From granite soils, the appropriately named 2010 St.-Joseph Les Granits has an opaque purple color and gorgeous, dense notes of sweet black cherries with hints of crushed rock, graphite, pen ink and blackberry liqueur. The granite mineral terroir characteristics come through in this wine, which is full and rich. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2030+.
