Frappato is an ancient grape native to the island of Sicily. It is elegant, balanced and pairs well with a wide range of foods. Historically, finer Sicilian wines have been produced from classic, cooler-climate growing regions. This wine is a modern interpretation of a classic Sicilian grape, hence the Nova Strada “new direction” descriptor used for this historic wine.
