Chateau du Moulin Neuf Medoc 2011

Chateau du Moulin Neuf Medoc 750ml 2011
Sku: 1833018*

Chateau du Moulin Neuf is a small family-owned estate with 22 acres of vineyards, located in the northern part of Medoc. Alain Marcellotto acquired the vineyard with 6 acres and developed it. The vineyards are planted with 25 year-old Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines on gravel and sandy-loam soils, and a newly renovated winemaking facility allows the production of premium-quality wine with a balanced structure. A pronounced sunny exposure in August is tempered by the influence of the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean, ensuring optimal ripening of the grapes. Chateau du Moulin Neuf is a well-crafted authentic Left Bank Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (for structure and power) smoothed with the elegance and finesse of Merlot.

Tasting notes
Deep red in appearance, with ruby highlights, Chateau du Moulin Neuf reveals delicate aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry, with hints of soft spices. Melting tannins introduce a well-structured wine on the palate, with great balance and dark fruit flavors. Its elegant length makes it a great accompaniment for roasted or grilled meat, and soft cheeses.
