Goldeneye Pinot Noir Ten Degrees 2011

Goldeneye Pinot Noir Ten Degrees 750ml 2011
Sku: 1898301*

 Wine Spectator 90 points (Sep 30 2014)
Rich and full-bodied, notably dry and tannic, with deep, extracted dried berry, steeped black tea, forest floor and stemmy berry and espresso notes. Gains on the finish, with the tannins lending traction. Drink now through 2022. 578 cases made.-JL

The 2011 Pinot Noir Ten Degrees exhibits a denser color than the generic Anderson Valley cuvee as well as nice, broad, velvety, blackcurrant and black cherry notes, sweet tannin, medium body, a deliciously concentrated, lush mouthfeel, an endearing texture and plumpness, and Pinot opulence. This is a beautiful Pinot Noir from a much-maligned vintage. It can be enjoyed now and over the next 2-3 years.
