A'bunadh, Gaelic for 'of the origin', is matured exclusively in Oloroso ex-sherry butts. It is a natural cask-strength malt whisky produced without the use of modern-day chill filtering methods or the addition of water. Colour Deep, rich amber Nose Aromas of mixed spices, praline and spiced orange harmonising with rich, deep notes of Oloroso sherry Palate Orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with sherry and oak. Full bodied and creamy Finish Robust and intense with bitter-sweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak. A'bunadh is matured entirely in Spanish oak oloroso butts, non-chill filtered, and bottled at cask strength. This edition is very rich, with dark berry notes on the nose, hazelnuts, caramel, cinnamon, and orange fondant creams. The palate is full and supple, with polished oak, honey, new leather, raisins, prunes, and a hint of cloves. Very long in the finish, with plain chocolate, black pepper, fruity spices, and oak.Reviewed by: Gavin Smith (Summer 2018)
Deep and concentrated aromas of nuts and raisins. The flavors in the mouth begin salty and spicy, slowly turning to sweet dried fig and candied nuts. The texture is leathery and rustic adding to the intensity of this whisky.. Water, Single Malt; 60.00%. Neat or on the rocks. Color: Rich gold

Palate: Intense fruity flavours; buttery and creamy with a syrupy fruit sweetness; soft on the palate with a rich chocolate orange-like note Nose Full flavours, slightly smoky with red apples and a fine sherry character

Finish: Long mouth-warming feeling and mellowness; slightly peaty with a honey and spicy aftertaste Liquor
