The 2024 comes from a domaine whose vineyards sit on sandstone and schist, topped with blue slatey schist.

Château d'Epiré has been in the Bizard family continuously since the 17th century. Monsieur and Madame Luc Bizard now own eleven hectares, nine of them planted to Chenin Blanc. Savennières lies just southwest of Angers, on the north bank of the Loire. The domaine works three parcels: La Croix Picot, Le Parc, and Le Hu-Boyau, which sits just above La Coulée de Serrant. South and south-eastern exposure ripens the grapes, and the nearby Loire keeps temperatures moderate. The winery is a 12th-century Romanesque chapel, and the château is modeled on the Petit Trianon of Versailles.
