Since it was founded in 1993, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro has been recognized for its high-quality wines, including Crianzas, Reservas and Gran Reservas. The estate, called la Planta, boasts 3,460 acres of land in Quintanilla de Onesimo, near Valladolid. It’s breathtaking with its large number of deer and wild boar roaming free. Within this large natural space, which is also a hunting reserve, grow the 382 acres of vines dominated by the Tinto Fino or Tempranillo varietal and complemented by a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The facility is equipped with the latest technology, and its steel tanks can contain up to one million liters of wine. While stored in American and French oak barrels, the wines acquire a fine taste and aromas. In a few years, the Arzuaga Navarro family has been able to develop a large cellar of quality red wines thanks to the combination of tradition and technology. The quality is the most important aspect in our winery and no efforts are spared by the Arzuaga-Navarro family to achieve it. ARZUAGA-NAVARRO spends its time on it. This attention starts from the scratch, in the vineyard, since it is impossible to make good wine without healthy and quality grapes. Here, we focus on limited outcomes, related to the lack of fertility of the land and the harsh Castilian weather. The more outcomes the less concentration and quality the wine will have. The great quality of our grapes, inexcusable premise for good wine, together with the cares of the vineyard and the passion in our job make our wines be one of the most prestigious of the D.O RIBERA DEL DUERO.
