If you decide to return that item, your progress would also go back down to $50 – it's just like you hadn't bought the item in the first place.

100% Pedro Ximenez Pedro Ximenez is made with a type of grape that is used in the making of wines of the same name in our Designation. As a result of the characteristics of the grapes and the conditions of the harvest, a sweet wine is produced. Using the same ageing methods as those of solera wines and by means of oxidative ageing, these wines are very special. It is the youngest of our wines, being an average of 22 years old. This age gives the wine very fresh and intensely sweet raisiny notes, without it being cloying. Tasting notes: Aspect: Very dark iodized with hints of ochre and very dense. Nose: Very intense fruity aromas; raisins, figs and plums with notes of black liquorice and dark roasted smells. Hints of bulrushes and straw as well as touches of dried tomatoes. It evokes memories of oil and tar aromas. Palate: It is very smooth, dense, silky and oily. Its journey through the mouth and throat is not at all heavy, inciting us to take another sip. It has a long aftertaste with chocolate, liquorice, coffee and toffee flavours. Gastronomy: It combines wonderfully with baked or souffle type chocolates. It is excellent with Christmas sweets and cakes, creamy but not acidic desserts, and it is surprising with smooth blue cheeses, like Roquefort, Gorgonzola or Tresviso and mature goats cheeses. It goes well with Havana cigars. Serving Temperature: It is more agreeable when drunk slightly chilled (14-15o), although it can also be drunk cold (8-10o), even though it will lose aromas and a little flavour. Alcohol Content: 15% V.O.S. 20years. Storage: If the bottle is unopened, this wine will remain in perfect condition and even improve with time. Once the bottle has been opened, the wine will remain completely stable for up to 12 months, as long as it is kept in the vertical position and out of direct light (16 -18o) Grape Variety: Pedro Ximenez 100% Annual bottling capacity: 4,000 bottles/year Presentation: 75 cl “Jerezana” bottle. Hand-numbered.
