The whisky has been patiently aged in oak for many years to give it a rich and complex yet smooth flavor. Each barrel is then bottled individually with expert care and skill under rigorous quality standards.The worlds first single barrel Canadian whisky, this bottle is a beautiful nod to its Canadian heritage with its maple leaf topper and blue wax seal. Packaged by hand, each bottle is nestled inside a brilliant blue pouch to protect its valuable contents inside. A scenic gift box capturing the beauty of a Canadian evening by moonlight is also available.. Smooth aromas of sugarcane, watercress and shaved almonds persist on the nose. The palate is plush and soft, flavors of marzipan, canale and caramel are distinctive but subtle.
Dark honey in the glass, this whisky boasts maple and cedar aromas in the bouquet. Expect lots of spice on the palate, including clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne and black pepper, all smoothed over by a ribbon of maple and honey. It finishes big, round, buttery and mouthwatering. Radiantly-hued nectar with a nod to the tantalizing silky texture provided by the barrel. The rye grain cuts through the wood flavors making its spicy presence known without risking the creamy vanilla custard smoothness. The finish is oak with an orangey tang.
