The estate is located south-east of the village of Saint-Emilion, in the town of Saint Pey d'Armens. Its vineyard, planted for some vines over 40 years ago, produces a complex wine and very good care. Terroirs Ancient sand and clay soils Vinification & breeding The grapes of Chateau D'Arcie benefit from gravitational vatting in stainless steel tanks thermo-regulated thus optimally preserving the quality of the grapes. In order to promote the aromatic expression, the grapes will then undergo pre-fermentation maceration. During the fermentation phase, a soft and progressive extraction of the color and the tannic structure is carried out by reassembly operations. The vatting lasts 20 to 30 days. The wine is then drained, the "marc" (skins and seeds) is separated from the gout juice. The breeding phase can then begin. For the Grands Crus, it is realized in barrels between 12 and 18 months. The percentage of new barrels may vary depending on the quality of the vintages and the power of the wines.
