What happens to my points if I make a return?

When you return an item, you lose the associated credit you originally earned by buying the item in the first place.
Sound kind of confusing? Let's take an example: let's say you had previously spent $50 towards a 'spend $100, earn 500 points' promotion, and you decide to buy a $20 item, which bumps you up to $70. If you decide to return that item, your progress would also go back down to $50 โ€“ it's just like you hadn't bought the item in the first place.

At his estate in Bandol, Eric de Saint-Victor produces some of the finest wines in all of Southern France. Perched atop the highest and northernmost part of the appellation, the Chรขteau de Pibarnon commands sweeping vistas of an undulating amphitheater of vines and the Mediterranean Sea. The restanques, or terraces, were carved into the hill to minimize erosion and maximize water absorption, which is of the utmost importance in a hot, dry terroir such as Bandol. The soil at Chรขteau de Pibarnon is unique, differing from that of its neighbors further down the slope. As a result of a geological anomaly purported to have taken place at the end of the Mesozoic Era, Pibarnonโ€™s soils contain large quantities of blue marl and limestone, as well as fossil material which is 150 million
