Owner and winemaker Alexandre Monmousseau's family has run the estate since his grandfather purchased it in 1931 and he makes sparkling, dry and sweet wine from the Chenin Blanc grape as well as a sparkling rose from Grolleau and Cabernet Franc. He cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards averaging 35 years in age. Chateau Gaudrelle is located in the heart of the Loire Valley between Tours and historic Amboise, overlooking the beautiful Loire river.
