Domaine Génot-Boulanger is run by Guillaume and Aude Lavollée, the fourth generation of vignerons at the family estate. Their wines come only from estate-owned vineyards across all three Burgundy côtes, from Chambolle-Musigny down to the domaine in Meursault and on to Mercurey. Their 22 hectares yield wine from more than 30 appellations, a range few family-owned Burgundian domaines match. Since 2008, they have converted to organic farming and experimented with biodynamics. Their philosophy is "maximum work in the vineyards for minimum intervention in the cuverie," which aims for wines true to their terroir.
