Château Moulin Canon-Fronsac is a 2011 red wine made from Merlot in the Canon-Fronsac appellation of Bordeaux, France. The fruit comes from lower-slope clay vineyards at either Château Moulin Pey-Labrie or Château Haut-Lariveau, and the Château Moulin wines are described as easy-drinking.
Bénédicte and Grégoire Hubau, a former computer specialist and a former chemist from northern France, left their careers to become vignerons. They bought Château Moulin Pey-Labrie in Fronsac, learned from their employees and neighbors, and added Château Haut-Lariveau in 1990. They give each vine individual care, design some of their own equipment, including a machine that works the soil from below, and in the cellar they act as observers, letting the land express itself with elegance and finesse.
