Chateau Pey de Pont is a wine estate that has existed since the 1850s (referenced in the 1st edition of Bordeaux and its wines) and where 3 families followed one another. In 1874, it produced a total of 90 barrels and it was in 1932 that it was classified Cru Bourgeois. In 1950, Mr Jean REICH bought the estate consisting of 12 Ha. It improves, enlarges the vineyard and delivers its production in the cooperative cellar. His son Henry settles in turn by continuing the work undertaken by his father. In 1997, during the installation of Laurent and Olivier, children of Henri REICH, the decision to re-vinify on the property is taken, the vineyard is enlarged and a marketing in bottle develops. After the work of 3 generations, the Chateau Pey de Pont represents today 41 hectares of vines, ie a total production of approximately 250 000 passes.
