Chardonnay is an Estate wine from Tai Vineyard, Los Carneros. Once fermentation is completed, around 30 days, it then ages 11 months in small French Oak barrels (25% new). It is is fragrant with aromas of ginger, Meyer lemon, and subtle marzipan, complemented by a hint of pie crust. The wine offers vibrant citrus tones on the palate, mingling with crisp Granny Smith apple, peach, apricot, honeydew melon, and fresh pear. Embracing its fruit-forward nature, this Chardonnay boasts a well-rounded character and has a refreshing finish. It is best paired with rich fish and vegetarian dishes.
