Plat’Bos, like with the other two single vineyards, are true to the local dialect of the people from the Siebritskloof whom have been working with this vineyard long before they became involved on the Paardebosch farm. “Plat” means low or flat and “bos” means bush (vines). It refers to the small, low bush vines, true to the mountain and typical of the Swartland dialect Grapes were harvested in the second part of January, being one of the earliest Chenin Blanc vineyards that David & Nadia work with, planted on a northern slope Harvesting took place over 5 picking dates and all lots were fermented and aged separately in old French barrels.
