Traboules is a 2023 red Gamay from the Coteaux du Lyonnais appellation in France. The vines are about 30 years old, and the wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. It is a fine-structured red with aromas of red summer fruits, redcurrants and raspberries. It can be drunk straight after bottling for its fresh, emerging aromas, or kept for up to 4 or 5 years.
Domaine Clusel-Roch grew from René and Joséphine Clusel's farm near Ampuis in the 1950s, where they grew vegetables, fruit trees and Côte-Rôtie vines. Their son Gilbert committed to Côte-Rôtie, and in the 1990s the domain replanted with massale selection from Grandes Places, resumed ploughing, stopped chemical treatments and built a gravity-fed cellar. Côte-Rôtie became certified organic in the 2000s. Gilbert's son Guillaume added Coteaux du Lyonnais by renting vineyards in Millery and Grigny.
