Merlot, Cabernet, Tannat and Syrah with average vine age of 27 years, planted on rolling hills with sand, clay and limestone soils. Each variety is picked and vinified separately in stainless steel vats after being destemmed and lightly crushed. Postfermentation lasts for around 10 days and the wines undergo malolactic before being blended and aged, partially in barrel. Two brothers, Martin and Mathieu Beraut, tend this 300 year old family estate, one of the oldest vineyards in the Gers. They produce a range of Armagnacs as well as breeding cattle, all this in harmony with a rich surrounding biodiversity. More recently, they have begun to produce an exciting range of wines that have become known for their striking aromatic intensity and freshness.
