Domaine Gachot-Monot Bourgogne Chant de Muses Rouge is a 2023 red Burgundy made from Pinot Noir in the Bourgogne appellation of France.
Domaine Gachot-Monot is a family estate created around 1890 in Corgoloin, on the border of the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune. Five generations have run it, and Damien and Liselotte Gachot manage it today. Marguerite Monot ran the vineyard alone from 1950 to 1980. Her daughter Marie Therese and her husband Jean Pierre Gachot then renovated and replanted it, and gave the domaine its name. Damien joined his mother in 1993. The roughly 14 hectares of vines, mostly Pinot Noir, are spread across Corgoloin, Comblanchien and Nuits St Georges. Damien and his team farm with respect for the soil and vine, using careful pruning, selection of fruit bearing branches and manual leaf thinning.
