Domaine Prunier-Bonheur is run by Pascal Prunier, the fifth generation in a family of vignerons. In 1983 he started his own domaine with his wife, Christine Bonheur, working just 3 hectares of rented vines. Today the domaine has 8 hectares scattered across the Côte de Beaune, from Saint Romain to Beaune. Production is split equally between white and red wine, and the cellars sit on the road between Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. The whites are full of energy, while the reds show a zen-like calm and great purity.
