Domaine Thillardon Les Vibrations is a 2024 red from Chénas in Beaujolais, made from Gamay. It blends several Chénas terroirs into a lively, fresh wine with bright red fruit and silky tannins.
Brothers Paul-Henri and Charles Thillardon are working to put Chénas, Beaujolais' smallest cru, back on the map. Paul-Henri began making wine in 2008 from 3 hectares and now farms 12. He has worked organically from the start, plowing some vineyards with a horse and using biodynamic treatments. After meeting Fleurie natural winemakers Jean-Louis Dutraive and Yvon Métras in 2009, he moved from partial destemming and a more Burgundian approach to semi-carbonic in 2014, and to fully cool semi-carbonic in 2015.
