The classic Provence Rosé profile is what every serious winemaker around the world attempts to mimic and for good reason. Our goal is to find the delicate balance between floral, herbal, wild red fruit (not overly ripe), stone fruit and acid. Enticing aromatics of peach, white cherry and wild raspberry that are balanced by summer flowers, white tea and Provence herbs. Subtle notes of peach, pear quince and rosewater with a citrus finish and a hint of spice.
Estandon is Provence’s oldest and most renowned brand (1947) and as such is the benchmark for the rose wines of Provence. It’s a category leader and the largest producer in Provence controlling more than 20% of the AOP. The cuvées are carefully chosen each year by Catherine Huguenin, Estandon’s Cellar Master.
