If you decide to return that item, your progress would also go back down to $50 โ€“ it's just like you hadn't bought the item in the first place.

Fontezoppa was founded in 1999, in Civitanova Alta where the hills of the Marche overlook the Adriatic Sea. The estateโ€™s vineyards are divided between Civitanova Alta and the small and unique area of Serrapetrona, where the Azzurri Mountains help to create a distinct microclimate. In 2002, the first Verdicchio, Vernaccia Nera, Sangiovese, Merlot, Lacrima, Cabernet Sauvignon and Montepulciano vineyards were planted in Civitanova Alta, where they can reap the benefits of a maritime climate. These were soon followed by plantings of Maceratino, Incrocio Bruni 54, Pecorino and Passerina. The slopes of the Azzurri Mountains in the Serrapetrona district are home to 20 hectares of Vernaccia Nera, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese. The Vernaccia Nera here produces not only the well-known sparkling wine typical of the area, but three excellent still reds that rank among Fontezoppaโ€™s most distinctive offerings. The name 'Fontezoppa' refers to an ancient water source that once flowed where the rows of vines now grow. The property now extends over 71 hectares, of which 58 are planted to vines, and produces 350,000 bottles per year. The altitude and the extreme soil conditions enhance the quality of the limited quantity of grapes produced. The winery employs sustainable practices and is in the process of converting to organic certification. By combining native grape varieties, ancient techniques and modern expertise, Fontezoppa is able to produce wines with strong personalities that express the generosity of this land.
