Heart & Hands is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Tom and Susan Higgins. We are committed to producing cool-climate wines which express the terroir of the Finger Lakes. We focus exclusively on Pinot Noir and Riesling, from which we create still and sparkling wines. We are a boutique winery, producing around 2,000 cases per year, which allows for an intense focus on quality. Tom and Susan collaborate closely on general management of the winery. Tom manages the vineyard and cellar activities, while Susan manages the tasting room, external sales and finance activities. Tom and Susan are joined in the cellar and tasting room by a talented team of professionals with diverse backgrounds and interests – but all with a shared passion for wine. Heart & Hands Wine company is committed to making distinctive, terroir-driven wines, and believes that great wine begins in the vineyard. We own and manage our Estate vineyard, and we have also partnered with several premier winegrowers in the Finger Lakes. Each vineyard is carefully managed using a plan that is tailored to the soil and microclimate of the site. Our vineyard practices and grower relationships are integral to maintaining consistent quality and excellence vintage after vintage.
