The beginnings of Santa Ema date back to the opening of the 20th century, when don Pedro Pavone Voglino, an Italian immigrant, sportsperson and businessman, discovered a great terroir in Isla de Maipo, the place where our head offices are still operating today. The founder and his son, Felix Pavone Arbea, an entrepreneur of great vision, began in 1956 a winemaking business called Vinos Santa Ema. They equipped it with state of the art industrial infrastructure for developing and managing bottled wines of high quality. As of then, Santa Ema has opened its doors to Chile and the world, starting its exports in a solid and uninterrupted growth process, reaching today more than 30 countries. If anything characterizes the spirit, mission and vision of Vinos Santa Ema, today in the hands of the 4th generation of the Pavone Family, that is the complete and constant commitment to the following fundamental principles: Respect for the human being This is made manifest through a considerate treatment and open-door policies towards our workers, which has allowed us to always work as an efficient and united team.
